This course is intended for all professionals who are involved in the evolution of the construction process—architects, general contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, and owners–and dealing with both private and Government construction contracting. The course is designed around the premise that change orders and claims typically have a contract time component that needs to be addressed. Critical path method (CPM) schedules are utilized by the parties to process change orders and resolve claims involving contract time issues. Other industries also plan and monitor contract performance using the CPM schedule; as such, this course is well suited for owners and contractors in many industries, including shipbuilding, manufacturing, and procurement contracting.
