This one-day course will explore the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and its corresponding relationship to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). It will discuss particularly significant Parts, Subparts, and Sections of both sets of regulations, plus review corresponding sections of the associated Policy, Guidance, and Instructions (PGI). When possible, attendees should possess some familiarity with the FAR and with federal government contracting before beginning this training.
In the workshop, attendees will encounter practical examples involving the regulations involved, plus discuss how various alternative scenarios might properly be resolved. Additionally, the training will identify and discuss significant recent and proposed changes to the FAR and DFARS.
