This webinar will provide an overview of cost allowability, with a focus on the FAR cost principle of cost reasonableness. We will then examine, more specifically, subcontract and vendor cost allowability as DCAA has increased its focus on subcontract and vendor costs incurred in the performance of government contracts. The webinar will conclude with a discussion of strategies contractors can use to overcome purchasing system disapprovals and challenges based on the government conducting extensive contractor purchasing system reviews as a means to scrutinize the methods contractors use to manage their subcontract and vendor costs.
