Preventing, Investigating, and Reporting Accounting Issues. This webinar will focus on investigating and reporting accounting issues in the Mandatory Disclosure context. This webinar will begin with a discussion of internal investigation and disclosure trends over the past year and how these trends guide contractors’ decisions as they investigate and evaluate potential accounting issues. This webinar will then discuss the Mandatory Disclosure Rule and the effect that the Supreme Court’s decision in Escobar has had on the Rule. Best practices for investigating potential accounting issues, including how to initiate and conduct an effective investigation will also be outlined. Finally, this webinar will cover best practices for making mandatory disclosures and managing post-disclosure government reviews.
