Surveying the New Cyber Landscape
May 14 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pmFree
For a decade at least, the federal government has been struggling with how to protect information and information systems as the volume and value of that information skyrockets. Many different agencies have a role to play: DHS, DoD, GSA, DoJ, NIST, OMB and NARA have principle responsibilities. In many ways DoD has been the pathfinder. On January 31, CMMC 1.0 was published, and that standardized third-party cyber certification regime will be rolled out in solicitations this year. DoD and civilian Agency contractors need to understand how CMMC, ICT supply chain restrictions and other initiatives will impact the estimated 300,00+ federal contractors. Join Jeff Chiow to get caught up on this fast-moving topic.
• CMMC 1.0 and NIST SP 800-171
