May 25, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm$189
The Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 altered the terrain of Government contracting in many ways, but certainly none more important than the introduction of Commercial Item Acquisition. Join Professor Ralph Nash and Tim Sullivan as they discuss the impact that Commercial Item Acquisition has had on the Government, prime contractors and subcontractors; the cultural changes it has spawned; how the courts, the boards and the GAO have interpreted and applied certain terms; and the challenges this procurement concept continues to present.
