An often overlooked – and one of the most important – facets of working with data and software is how best to mark and protect your intellectual property assets. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provides a roadmap for requirements that are unique to federal government contractors and includes provisions such as human trafficking prevention, the Service Contract Act, the Davis Bacon Act, sick leave, and affirmative action requirements.
