Exploring Other Transaction Authority Agreements
December 6, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
$378
Other Transaction Authority agreements are increasingly becoming relevant for a number of U.S. Government agencies and contractors. With the flexibility to deviate from the Federal Acquisition Regulation and general procurement requirements, these types of agreements are attractive to both public and private personnel. However, the frameworks that apply to Other Transaction Authority agreements are continually changing and present novel considerations that are not immediately obvious to most individuals that participate in traditional government contracting, including individuals with years of experience in this space.
In this series, our instructors will discuss the frameworks that apply to Other Transaction Authority agreements and differences between these forms of agreements and traditional government contracts. The series will focus on unique issues raised by Other Transaction Authority agreements and important provisions to address in negotiations. These topics will be addressed in three parts, with an initial introduction to Other Transaction Authority agreements (Nov 29), an overview of key terms and compliance obligations (Dec 6), and an examination of related accelerators, consortia, and recent developments (Dec 13).
