Financial Forum 2019: Accounting for Transaction Costs

March 12, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Although corporate transactions are generally complex, government contractors undergoing such activities must grapple with additional complications associated with allowability and allocability of transaction-related costs. Indeed, government auditors are trained to carefully scrutinize costs associated with such transactions. This “Accounting for Transaction Costs” webinar will review various cost principles related to corporate transactions, including those related to depreciation, golden parachutes/handcuffs, goodwill, organization/restructuring costs, and pension costs. Among other topics, it will also address changes in cost accounting practices.
