February 20 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
This comprehensive two-part seminar series focuses on the full lifecycle of successful government contract compliance and execution, guiding participants through the key stages of developing and executing a contract proposal in response to a Request for Proposal (RFP), administering the contract during performance, and completing the final contract closeout activities.
Part One begins with an in-depth look at the government contracting pre-award process. It will cover topics such as key considerations for the pursuit of government contracts, important functional processes and systems needed to win and successfully perform on government contracts, and cover preparation for post-award compliance success. For example, participants will learn how to interpret RFP’s and develop compliant contract proposals.
Part Two will cover the essential activities that take place post-award during and following contract performance. For example, effective contract administration will be discussed in depth as will ways to meet contractual obligations, manage risks, and ensure both parties fulfill their responsibilities. Part Two will involve a deeper dive into post award functional compliance areas and describe specific risks and when and how new contractors can mitigate such risks.
By the end of the two seminars, participants will have gained the insights needed to manage the government contracting lifecycle and ensure regulatory compliance and success.
