HOW: A Hands-On Workshop to Help Prepare You for Your Next Contractor Purchasing System Review

During this one-day seminar, we will explore the current Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) environment, the scope and criteria of these reviews, and lessons learned by your peers and competitors stemming from their recent experiences with the DCMA CPSR Group. This workshop provides the attendees with the ground-level knowledge and insights needed to ensure their policies, procedures, and file documentation practices are calibrated to satisfy DCMA’s expectations while balancing operational demands placed on you by your internal and Government customers. Finally, this workshop will facilitate open discussion of the challenges you face every day in your efforts to sustain the “approvability” of your purchasing system. To that end, you’re encouraged to bring your questions, concerns, real-life examples and hypotheticals to this day of CPSR fun and be prepared to think critically through case studies presented to the audience by the instructor.
Who should attend? The seminar is recommended for those individuals who are responsible for purchasing/ subcontracting in support U.S. Government contracts, implementing and maintaining adequate purchasing systems, leading their employers through CPSRs, and conducting oversight of purchasing systems.
