Making the Right Choices in Government Contracting

This virtual class series covers the most important choices made by contractors and suggests ways to choose the right approach. Although not oriented towards agency contracting officials, the virtual classes provide valuable insights for them as well. The course covers choices in solicitations and proposals, the understanding of contract types (including Multiple Award Schedules), contract administration (including subcontract management), terminations and disputes. Each choice includes examples showing how an incorrect choice can be made and recommendations on how to avoid making it. Why make the wrong choices that contractors have made before you when you can avoid them by learning best practices and principles through the understanding of classic situations drawn from every phase of the government contracts lifecycle. The course discusses the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and statutes that give rise to these choices.
