PCI is proud to present the twelfth year of the Supply Chain Symposium, a monthly virtual training series that provides insights about latest legal and practical issues that impact the supply chain.  Attendees include management from the largest prime contractors and systems integrators to employees of small businesses and the lowest tier of subcontractors. 

All Sessions 2:00-3:30pm ET

  • Attendees will learn the mandatory FAR flowdown clauses applicable to each type of subcontract as of December 31, 2024
  • Attendees will hear advice on sources other than the FAR to derive terms and conditions that are not mandatory
  • Attendees will develop a better understanding of how to mitigate risk in their negotiation and performance of prime contracts and subcontracts
  • Attendees will learn best practices in choosing language for limitation of liability and indemnity provisions
  • Attendees will learn the mandatory DFARS flow-down clauses as of January 1, 2024 applicable to non-commercial-item, commercial item and service DoD subcontracts
  • Attendees will hear advice on non-mandatory DFARS clauses to flow down in order to reduce performance uncertainties
  • Attendees will develop a better understanding of how to mitigate risk in their performance of defense-related prime contracts and subcontracts

During this session of the Supply Chain Symposium, our instructors will discuss:

  • Attendees will learn about the Service Contract Labor Standards:  recent trends and compliance tips
  • Attendees will learn about the Availability of financial relief/equitable adjustments
  • Attendees will gain greater understanding of the cost principle issues that most directly affect the supply chain, including the material cost principle at FAR 31.205-26
  • Attendees will learn about significant recent litigation impacting supple chain cost and pricing
  • Attendees will develop a greater understanding of how to navigate pricing issues relating to the supply chain, including TINA compliance
  • Attendees will learn about ongoing issues in prime contractor oversight of subcontractors
  • Attendees will be hear about the latest in best practices and other recent developments in cost and pricing supply chain issues
