International Contracting Webinar Series Part I – Export Controls (September 7, 2023, 10:30 – 11:45 am ET) (presented by Russell Randle and Adam A. Bartolanzo of Miles & Stockbridge P.C.): Part I of PCI’s three-part webinar series on international contracting explores what government contractors need to know about export controls compliance.  The course will provide an overview of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).  The course will also discuss the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions regulations and FAR 25.7’s restrictions on prohibited sources.

International Contracting Webinar Series Part II – Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (September 21, 2023, 10:30 – 11:45 am ET) (presented by Holly Drumheller Butler, Sasha Hodge-Wren, and Adam A. Bartolanzo of Miles & Stockbridge P.C.): Part III of PCI’s three-part webinar series on international contracting will cover the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.  The course will provide an overview of FCPA prohibitions, as well as the civil and criminal fines that may be imposed upon companies found to be in violation.  The course will discuss best practices, what contractors can do to implement an anti-corruption compliance program, and some of the challenges associated with maintaining a communications platform abroad.

International Contracting Webinar Series Part III – Foreign Investments (September 28, 2023, 10:30 – 11:45 am ET) (presented by Russell Randle and Adam A. Bartolanzo of Miles & Stockbridge P.C.): Part II of PCI’s three-part webinar series on international contracting will cover foreign investments and how they affect government contractors.  The course will provide an overview of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), filing requirements for covered transactions, and penalties associated with non-compliance.  The course will also discuss regulations affecting the foreign ownership, control or influence (FOCI) of U.S. companies, including those set forth in the Department of Defense’s National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) Rule.
