Data Rights Clauses in FAR Contracting

A Companion to August’s Data Rights in DoD Contracting. Managing intellectual property (IP) when working with the federal government is one larger challenges of government contracting. IP in Government Contracting is controlled by a set of FAR and DFARS clauses that control which rights the government receives and which are retained by the contractor. During this 90 minute session, Cara Wulf and Tiffany Hubbard from McCarter & English will summarize each of the major IP clauses in the FAR, along with the intellectual property implications they carry.
