FAR/CAS – “A New Administration, a New Spin on Compliance

We will be touching on developments toward the end of 2020 and in early 2021, resulting from the transition of power, that have changed or will change how contractors, their Government customers, and auditors assess compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Federal Business Systems. The past four years seemed to be leading contractors down one path, but the next two months brought a slew of changes that will impact not only the requirements, but also how contractors will interact with the Government when demonstrating compliance.
