Please join us as PCI presents this initial teaser episode of CAS: The Series! This virtual training session is a 90-minute, fun-filled overview of the Cost Accounting Standards. Yes – we said “fun” – and we mean it. Bill Walter, your instructor, will discuss the background and history of the CAS, some of the challenges that companies face regarding CAS compliance, DCAA’s current activities regarding CAS oversight and DCMA’s guidance on CAS Administration. Combining CAS, dry humor and a little bit of trivia will hopefully make this series one of the most valuable training programs for companies with contracts subject to CAS today and companies that are on the brink of being awarded their first contract subject to CAS requirements. The CAS Board was initially established by Congress on August 15, 1970 – 50 years ago! Please join us with our new CAS – The Series to find out what has happened over the past 50 years and how these rules, that have been in place long before many of us started our careers, have impacted this ever changing and exciting marketplace.
