Introduction to Acquisition Flexibilities

During this program, PCI will introduce agency and private sector personnel to and overview of flexibilities available in the federal government contracting process in FAR 18.1. These flexibilities are generally available when certain conditions are met and do not require an emergency declaration or designation of a contingency operation. Participants will be guided through the different phases of the contracting process (Notice and Solicitation, Limiting Competition and Sources, Evaluation and Award, and Contract Administration) while identifying the flexibilities available.
