Forward pricing rates are a key tool in the government’s workshop, allowing it to quickly negotiate contracts. During this 3-part program, our expert, Jennifer Flickinger, will dive into development of forward pricing rates and best practices for audit preparation.
Session 1 – Indirect & Direct Labor Bid Rate Basics
In the first session of our Forward Pricing Rate series, we’ll review the basics of Indirect and Direct rates. We’ll described the differences between direct and indirect rates, we’ll offer cover cost allocability issues, and describe the process by which a contractor establishes an indirect rate.
