Many government contractors enter into “teaming agreements” to pursue business with the federal government. These agreements are sometimes broadly written, while other times very specific. The extent to which a teaming agreement will be considered enforceable (and not merely an agreement to negotiate a future scope of work) will vary greatly depending on the agreement’s specific terms. In this course, experienced Government contracts attorney David Gallacher will explore the different types of teaming agreements that companies sign, while also recommending best practices in negotiating a teaming agreement to your specific business objectives.

Topics Include:

  • Regulatory background on teaming agreements and CTAs (contractor teaming arrangements)
  • Whether your teaming agreement will be considered enforceable or merely an “agreement to agree”
  • Practical matters to consider when signing a teaming agreement, including antitrust and small business affiliations issues
  • Suggested terms and conditions to include in your teaming agreement
