  • February 15
    • Join the Dentons US LLP Government Contracts Team as we target and discuss the most important and impactful recent updates to government contracting legislation and regulations including:
      • A review of the NDAA for FY 2024 and the sections that will most impact government contractors;
      • Proposed and finalized updates to the FAR, including requiring project labor agreements for large-scale construction projects and increasing transparency in compensation among contractors and subcontractors; and
      • Proposed and finalized updates to the DFARS, including easing requirements for commercial item contracts and long-awaited guidance on the cybersecurity maturity model certification (CMMC).
  • June 20
    • Join the Dentons US LLP Government Contracts Team as we target and discuss the most important and impactful recent legislative updates and updates to the FAR, GSAR, and DFARS including:
      • A final rule to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (“FAR”) by adding the framework for a new FAR part on information security and supply chain security;
      • Introduction of legislation titled the Federal Improvement in Technology (“FIT”) Procurement Act which updates federal procurement regulations and procedures for agency acquisition of technology, like cloud computing;
      • A proposal to amend the General Services Administration Acquisition Regulation (“GSAR”) to remove the requirement for lease offerors to have an active System for Award Management (“SAM”) registration when submitting an offer; and
      • A DoD final rule that implements the DoD Defense Industrial Base (“DIB”) Cybersecurity (“CS”) Program to assist defense contractors with threat information sharing.
