This webinar will discuss the Senate’s recent proposal to require U.S. Department of Defense contractors to grant rights in their proprietary manufacturing and process data when deemed unable to meet the U.S. Government’s needs.  The webinar will also discuss the Senate’s corresponding proposal to protect operation, maintenance, installation, and training data (aka “OMIT” data) and the tradeoff of simultaneously expanding and narrowing the U.S. Government’s rights.
