Cost-Plus Contract Management

This course provides an overview of all things related to cost-plus contract management.  The course will discuss what a cost-reimbursement contract is, the different types of cost-plus contracts, and the major government players in the cost-plus world.  The course will also examine the requirement for an adequate accounting system and what the audit and disallowance processes entail, before diving into a discussion of the core concepts of allowability, allocability, and reasonableness.  The course will provide an introduction to the Cost Principles and Cost Accounting Standards, as well as discuss the Truth in Negotiations Act and what it means to submit certified cost or pricing data.
